India's First match in World Cup 2007 against Bangladesh
Today is the real fight of our tigers against the bangladeshis...no doubt we'll win with a great margin...these were not only my lines but the statements given by many Indians....
I reached home today only to visit mom and dad...dad was really excited to see India win...
Being a true Indian Cricket fan he was wearing a blue shirt :-) and asked Beda (helps my parents in the daily household activities and also in Dad's clinic) to wear the blue tshirt which dad had got for him.So dad and I started watching the match...ball by ball and wicket by wicket...
I was so irritated watching the match and fall of consecutive wickets that i started calling my friends...same with everyone...all were so disappointed that either they were using slangs against team India or roaming endlessly(so dat they dnt see the match)
I cudnt resist the shock anymore and went off to sleep...but dad watched the whole match and it was Don(my mini greyhound) who accompanied till the end of the match.
Next morning all news channels started discussing the reasons for the failure...people were burning effigies all over the countries...
People were showing their frustations...Dad was not very happy the whole day...and finally i came back...
In the morning i heard a very shocking news of death of Bob Woolmer(pakistan cricket coach)
And when i reached office to my utter surpeise...sambit,one of my friends had simply shaved his hair...dukh mein...gum mein...
This cricket fever....God knows wat more is in store for us....
Anyways lets hope for the best.....afterall today there is the match between India and Bermuda. When Ireland could defeat Pak then we shouldnt underestimate Bermuda...

"Where there is expectation there is pain." One of my very close friend had told me. This might sound pessimistic, but this is a bitter truth that I personally have experienced.
But does that mean we stop expecting from life ? From family, from friends, from our neighbors, from our govt. or from our cricket team ? I guess not. Do your part diligently like Mausa did .. cheer for the team .. and leave the rest for others to do their part.
Now that India is out of World Cup, we don't have any expectations .. No sir.. we are looking forward for the next world cup 4 years later :-) ..
